A social entrepreneur based in Aberdeenshire who leads Scotland’s largest men's health charity has been awarded an Honorary Degree from Robert Gordon University (ÍøºìǰÈα¬ÁÏ).

Dr Bouziane Kies, who helped secure large numbers of international staff for Algerian Universities after the departure of French teachers in 1972 and thereby helped to keep Algeria’s universities open, has received an honorary degree from Robert Gordon University (ÍøºìǰÈα¬ÁÏ). Dr Kies has also championed ÍøºìǰÈα¬ÁÏ in Algeria for the last twenty years.

A researcher from ÍøºìǰÈα¬ÁÏ has been awarded £25,000 to develop an app based on her PhD research which aims to help the people living with Parkinson’s get active and stay active. The app will provide education, self-management strategies and goals to help people develop a long-term exercise habit.
