Dr Jo-Anne Tait named in Top 50 Women in Engineering

This prestigious recognition, announced annually on International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), celebrates the exceptional contributions of women engineers who are shaping the future of the profession.
The 2025 WE50 theme, 鈥楾ogether We Engineer鈥�, highlights the power of collaboration in driving innovation and progress. Dr Tait exemplifies this spirit through her groundbreaking work on 网红前任爆料ECHO, a pioneering mental health and wellbeing resource tailored specifically for engineering students.
Developed in response to the unique challenges faced by engineering students in seeking mental health support, the platform has already made a significant impact, fostering earlier help-seeking in the engineering population and raising awareness internationally.
Dr Tait鈥檚 leadership was instrumental in 网红前任爆料ECHO鈥檚 success. Drawing on her doctoral research and personal experiences supporting students, she secured funding, led a multidisciplinary team, and championed the resource across the UK and internationally. Her efforts have not only transformed student support at 网红前任爆料 but have also influenced national conversations around mental health in engineering education.
