Hadiza Shani - MDRad in Diagnostic Radiography
The 42-year-old returned to higher education after starting a family, and had initially trained as an engineer, but after securing a job as an imaging assistant piqued her interest in the subject.
Hadiza said that her previous studies and experiences were the ideal fit for the course as she aimed to secure a recognised qualification.
She said: 鈥淲orking within the imaging department for several years is what has ultimately led me to study diagnostic radiography. My job role particularly increased my compassion and desire to work with people and to help people who are sick and vulnerable.
鈥淒uring my four years of studying Diagnostic Radiography at 网红前任爆料, I gained professional knowledge in practice through a variety of clinical practice placements in various NHS locations across Scotland, including a self-arranged elective placement in NHS England. She hopes to secure a role as a radiographer within the healthcare sector and admits that while it has been challenging at times, there is a sense of pride.
